Here, Now and Down the Road... Tips for Loving Parents, (HNDR) is created by Wingspan LLC, the developer of Al’s Pals. HNDR assists parents in their journey of loving, caring for and guiding their children toward safe, healthy, and productive lifestyles.

This parent education program is based on the premise that the interaction and guidance of parents helps children not only in the present time – but for their lifetime. Although created to reinforce the concepts of Al’s Pals, the program also benefits parents whose children do not receive Al’s Pals.

HNDR focuses on building on the strengths of parents and helping parents see their role in shaping a bright future for their children. The program’s flexible nature makes it easy for parents to gain from any and all sessions they attend, whether or not they achieve perfect attendance. They learn strategies they can try at home with their children, such as taking the time to listen, expressing their expectations, and involving children in making decisions that affect them. Parents report improved relationships with their children, happier households, and greater hope for the future.
